Brave Browser Integrates To Solana as Part of New Partnership; BAT Jumps By 25% Following Announcement

The Brave Browser, the privacy-focused pro-crypto browser, announced yesterday that it would now be expanding to the Solana network as part of a joint integration. According to Brave Browser, they are now seeing more and more users as well as creators in need of the proper tools to access the decentralized Web. This new partnership is what they see as to what could accommodate such needs.

The announcement further noted that Brave turned to Solana because of its highly-impressive crypto network speeds and low costs. Brave Browser’s CEO, Brendan Eich, states that the low fees offered by Solana would make interacting with crypto, especially in his professed incoming billion crypto users project, much more accessible. For Solana, meanwhile, this partnership with Brave could boost its total active user base, which is reportedly at about 42 million, as of press time.

As for the immediate effects of the newly-found partnership between Brave and Solana, the privacy-centric browser’s native token, the Basic Attention Token (BAT), surged in value by about 25% following the news hitting the waves.

The integration is expected to be completed in the first half of next year.
