Multiple-time Super Bowl champion and Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar quarterback, Tom Brady, announced today his intentions to dive into the non-fungible token (NFT) sector via the “Autograph” – his very own platform. According to CNN, Brady will serve as the co-chairman of the incoming NFT platform alongside Intermix Media’s former CEO, Richard Rosenblatt.
The executives of the platform stated that Autograph aims to amalgamate the most iconic brands and names with the top-notch digital artists in the world today to develop and subsequently launch NFT pieces that are sure to delight collectors and fans worldwide. The CNN report then notes that Autograph would also offer interactive activities such as physical product drops, several other in-person experiences, and live auctions later down the line.
While such lofty promises aren’t anything new, Brady’s NFT platform comes in equipped with several top executive advisors from today’s most-prominent tech companies. Autograph’s official website states that its board of advisors notably includes DraftKings co-founders Paul Libeean and Jason Robins, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer, and Spotify executive Dawn Ostroff.
Brady has undoubtedly cemented himself in the NFL history books as being the only player ever to win seven Super Bowls. With that being said, many now wonder the degree of impact he could deliver in his incoming stint within the NFT space.
