Splinterlands Hits Over 403K Unique User Wallets; Now the Top Blockchain Game in DeFi

The king of play-to-earn blockchain games in DeFi has been crowned! Splinterlands now sits atop all its competitors as the official number one game in the whole sector in terms of active users, following its impressive milestone of hitting over 403,000 unique user wallets in the past week, according to DappRadar. On top of that, Splinterlands is also the current top 1 decentralized application (Dapp) today after it toppled PancakeSwap.

The non-fungible token (NFT) play-to-earn blockchain trading card game then humbly accepted this recognition by thanking all of its supporters and players on Twitter yesterday.

According to the statistics report of DappRadar, Splinterlands has now successfully recorded more than 15.5 million transactions, reaching a trading volume of over $125,000.

DappRadar’s report notes that one major reason for the game’s steadily increasing user count can be attributed to the incorporated staking mechanism it has that lets players earn “VOUCHERS.” According to DappRadar, this incentives mechanic encourages users to keep playing the game while also attracting those still not registered with them.

While several factors could be indeed attributed to the blockchain TCG game’s meteoric rise to the top, experts point their fingers at Splinterlands’ staking framework incorporation as the main reason as to why it has been this successful.
